Minor illness or injury

If you need treatment for a non-emergency illness or injury while travelling (excluding fractures), please pay for the treatment upfront and submit a claim afterwards with Qover.

Dental help

You’re covered for emergency dental treatment needed while overseas as a result of illness or injury, including:

  • Immediate pain relief, or

  • Emergency repairs to dentures or artificial teeth to relieve distress in eating

They can provide the following services:

  • Medical advice by phone

    • Guidance from a medical professional, including advice on travel vaccinations.

  • Finding local medical care

    • Contact details for trusted doctors, dentists, hospitals and other providers.

  • Medical monitoring

    • Support to ensure you’re receiving appropriate care while abroad.

  • Hospital payment guarantees

    • They may be able to arrange or guarantee hospital admission deposits on your behalf.
