Serious illness or accident
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, serious illness or accident while travelling abroad, please contact International SOS as soon as possible. They're available 24/7.
For our Dutch members, please call +31 20 532 9301 - you'll be prompted to select the option for emergencies, which will connect you directly to International SOS.
You can also reach International SOS directly on +44 (0) 208 762 8061.
The emergency team (International SOS) will assess your situation and help arrange the appropriate medical care, including hospital treatment if needed.
⚠️ Important: Treatment at a private medical facility may not be covered unless it has been approved in advance by the emergency assistance line.
Outpatient treatment
If you’re not admitted to hospital or require treatment for a minor illness or injury (excluding fractures), you should:
Pay for the treatment yourself, and
Submit a claim with Qover after your trip.
Please hold onto any receipts and documentation.
Dental help
You’re covered for emergency dental treatment due to illness or injury on trip while overseas.
