Can my partner make a claim on my card?

Yes, you can submit a claim on behalf of your spouse, legal partner, or other eligible beneficiaries covered under the policy. The claim must always be submitted by you, the cardholder.

A "partner" refers to your spouse or legal partner, including couples in a common-law relationship living permanently at the same address.

Proof of relationship

When making a claim, you may be asked to provide proof of relationship. This could include:

  • Marriage or civil partnership certificate

  • Proof that you live at the same address such as mortgage agreements, tenancy agreements, utility bills or other official forms of ID with addresses such as driving licenses

  • Evidence of shared financial responsibilities such as a joint bank account, or bills in both names
