What does part-charge mean?

To activate your Yonder travel insurance, you need to pay for at least one core part of your trip with your Yonder card before your trip starts.

This means paying the full bill for:

  • Main transport or,

  • Accommodation or,

  • Rental car before or during pick up or,

  • Any required deposits for the above

Quick rule of thumb

  • If it’s a core booking that forms the main part of your trip (accommodation, main transport, or rental car) it will likely count

  • If it’s an add-on, upgrade, or local connection, it doesn’t

Remember that any reimbursement for cancellation cover to unused travel, accommodation and activities will be limited to the amount paid for with your Yonder card.
